Jill has a diverse background that includes teaching in both elementary and secondary school settings, serving as a Special Education Coordinator, Assistant Principal and Principal and as an Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources. 

Jill is the President of School Matters, dedicated to partnering with districts to achieve desired results through evidence-based practices and continuous improvement.  She has worked with more than thirty school districts throughout Illinois.  

Jill holds a Doctorate in Curriculum, Instruction and Educational Psychology from Loyola University, Chicago; a Master’s in Educational Administration from Roosevelt University, Chicago; and a Bachelor of Arts in Education and Psychology from Barat College/DePaul University, Lake Forest.  In addition, she has a Superintendent’s Endorsement, Qualified Evaluator Endorsement and is a facilitator of the Illinois State Board of Education’s Initial Evaluator Training and Recertification Administrator Academies for administrators across Illinois.
